Were there any changes over the years?Wife really like the walk through and 90% of the time it's just the wife daughter and I on it for a quick lap around the lake after work.We are open on others but always seem to come back to the 211.I notice on some models the newer boats have round floor storages,vs the squared off. From what i can see at least online that's not the case on the 211.Were there any that the base motors were more hp,any hull changes etc.I know the 210 seems to had changed hull in 07.Thanks Aaron

no hull changes, prop rotation reversed in 07. I have the smallest engine but I have no ballast tanks. Only time it struggles a little is getting my 300 lbs up on slalom. It can do it, just struggles a little. LOVE my 211 as a good all around family boat when your normal crew is 6 or less. I've had 10 on it but don't want to do that everyday.

Which rotation would be considered more desirable pre 07 or 07 and later? Wife and I are both regular footed, and have never surfed but would like to.Is the base motor the 343hp? We have a older Malibu DD that's a 300hp mpi motor that would pull your arms off, albeit I'm sure it's half the weight.

There was a base engine of a Chevy pro-sport/Apex motor (still PCM) that was only 275hp, but most of the boats seem to have the Excalibur 330hp Chevy motor. Another minority upgraded to the ZR6 (6.0L Chevy) for the closed cooling and hp bump up to 375. I have never had a problem with the 330 Excal, I did put a 1235 Acme on it, so it pulls pretty strong out of the hole.

I have the base 275 engine 😉. As for prop rotation, 07 and later pull to the driver side during backing, which I prefer during docking. 06 and before pull to port.
