How do you organize the storage in your G?

My wife and I just bought our first Nautique... it's a 2015 G21, and we LOVE it! One of the things we liked best about the G-series was the massive storage that you have in the back of the boat (even with full ballasts!).

Anyway, I was loading up the boat last night with all of our gear from our old boat, and struggled a bit with how to organize the gear in the massive rear lockers. Lots of storage, but I really don't want to just pile up all the gear in there. I have some ideas on how to organize the stuff, but thought I would reach out to the community here to see if anyone has come up with some clever ideas to organize their gear. Any suggestions or pictures of what you've done?

Here's a picture of our new baby...

I hope this isn't an old topic, as I did search for older posts on this subject.

    Good Question.

Port rear locker: My surf board that is too thick for the racks, Ropes, board bags and life jacket

Starboard rear locker: More Ropes, door that slides in the tracks under the windshield, Boat cover.

Under Starboard Back seat: Babes Boat Care cleaning supplies, trash bags, tools. ALSO, All my bumpers with the phender pro clips

Under Port Passenger seat: Mandatory Life vests and cushion (per state law), extra ballast. I never want to raise this **** seat again after owning a 220!

Front storage: Anchor, and extra dock ropes

Under Port rear passenger seat: Cooler

    Glove Box: USB charging cables
All that and I still have many Cubic yards of storage left over. The space is insane in these boats. I love how organized I can make it all. Totally complies with my OCD.

ALSO: In that optional foot-well for the Port Side Passenger Seat, I have a little white basket that slides in like it was custom made for the space. Dock lines are in that basket so they can be accessed easily and quickly by me (driver) or anyone else. Its inset enough that you cant see it at all. Works like a champ!

Thanks Enzo. In the rear locker with your surf board and the life jackets, do you have any way you are organizing that gear? Crates, baskets, etc or is it just stacked in there? I can relate to the OCD comment, thus this thread...

Someone should try and make a PVC board rack thing for one of the rear storage compartments.

No organization. It's just those few things and they fit neatly in that locker and are easily accessible.

Haha!! I was actually about to comment that I plan to do JUST THAT!!! Get some PVC and make something for Surfs to slide into and pad it to keep them from getting damaged. Allocate it for one locker side. I will have to keep it small enough however that it can easily be removed to access the sides of the motor when needed. I plan on using the rear hangers for my wake and surf ropes. Wake boards will store in the opposite rear compartment during towing but then moved into the board racks while on the water, any remaining boards will stay in the rear compartment. Front right compartment will probably house all the docking/mooring lines, exile bouy balls, etc. I will probably store the anchor and anchor rope in the left front compartment along with 1 or 2 orange safety life jackets. Rest of the life jackets will go in a rear compartment with the boards. I have always kept a small tub with lid in all my boats (probably under rear passenger seat on the G) that I keep a few things like an extra qt of oil, funnel, etc in. I'll probably also store my spare prop and tool kit under that seat as well. The rest of the storage (large port midship locker and under seats behind driver) will be for any other items other people will bring. Glove box - manual, phone cords, everybody's electronics/valuables. Drivers glove box, MY valuables!! That will pretty much be the extent of my set up when I get my G!

Also note, my boat gets pulled in and out of the lake every outing, cleaned and wiped down, and most items such as boards, life jackets, and anything else that got wet are taken out and hung up in a building on racks and hangers.
