    NSS for the 220, updates!

Hello, first of all I'd like to thank forum member 8urchvy for his help. His boat was the guinea pig for testing and he's been an awesome installer!

The first North American surf kit for the 220 is at the water testing phase. Here are some pictures of the kit during development and installation. The setup is basically similar to my 230 kit but adapted to the 220 transom. It uses the same actuators and switch. All made of 304 stainless. Water tests to follow later, probably next weekend.

Let me know what you think!

Man, I'm getting very excited. I'm ready for this!!!! I need to find a different way to activate them. I want a switch that will auto retract but still say NSS and not bow up and bow down. Time for some research.

Green must be a very popular color!
I also did a 236 last week which was also green like this!

There has to be a way for the auto retract feature to be wired somehow, so that a certain speed will trigger the power loss needed for the auto retract.. anyone??

A friend of mine is working on a module for this feature to work. It will be GPS speed based.
He's currently testing his module. I will let you know as soon as we have some great results.

                      Quick Update....
The initial test was great...but will be much better once I dial in the ballast and get better water. I have an integrated bow sac that I think will lengthen the pocket.

More test results to come this weekend.

                      Ballast about 2,425lb:
                      - I ran the factory tanks at full (975)
                      - 650lbs in humans
                      - 200lb of lead (100 in nose and 100 by driver)
                      - Another ~600lb fatsacs in the back (300lb each locker)
                      - Gas Tank 3/4 full

Hydro gate?? I had better luck less bow weight and increase speed on 220. Maybe different w NSS.

I had the hydro gate at 3. All the way forward.

Looks like we have some experts in tuning the 220!
I never rode in that boat
