If the hydro hoist at my marina would support it, I'd just add lead, but my hoist wont float my boat (another reason I can't get a G) with any additional weight so I'm forced to rely on water ballast.

^^^No. I do it manually. I haven't bothered to learn how to use it. I just set the speed at 7.2 upriver and change it to 9.2 downriver. I think I'll try to get some video next weekend and have you guys tell me what you think, regarding my "speed issue."

Lucky, I emailed the video of my nephew surfing for the first time to you. Hopefully you're way smarter than me and can post it so others can see and judge if my speedo is off or not. As I said in the email, my daughter's boyfriend was driving for the first time and didn't understand what perfect pass does, hence the two audible rpm shifts.

Markj, try the same settings on port side . I'm curious if this a starboard side issue

I run the same exact settings on both sides. Only thing I change is the side from port to starboard. One button. I'm definitely downloading an iphone GPS app this week. I'll report back after this upcoming weekend. At this point, it's not affecting anything. I can still board/surf. Just annoying. I know I'm going normal speeds despite my speedo telling me I'm going the speed of a "little old lady on a motorized cart."

A touch of hydro gate for port side really cleans up the top edge.

Anyone have issues with bags leaking down? After about an hour or so I'v noticed we have lost a few gallons of water. Not leaking in bilge or at least that I can tell. Just wondering if anyone has had the same issue?? Really not a big deal but I'm thinking about shutting valves once full to see if it's gong back past the pump.

Yep. The rears leak down a bit. Not a lot, but some. They level out to the height of the overflow. Same in the bow as well if you have an IBS, but the bow does it more. A valve would definitely help unless you were forgetfull when it came time to empty the ballast. Pretty soon, we're all gonna have this boat figured out completely.

Once my bags are full, I close the valves. Seems to stop the leak-down.
