I'll snap a pic of them this weekend but they are tight. Post some of what you've got. There's more room up top in the locker and would think you could get a lot more water in there. I took the trays out on day one. I guess the are cool looking and sever some purpose?????? You can still toss jackets in there on bags. The only reason I haven't sold them is for when we trade in my dealer likes them back stock.
Have not done the pins yet but see how they could help.

I run my 2016 230 with the 750s in the corners and additional bow bag under the front seats which were dealer installed. Nss at 3 or 4 and speed between 10.4 and 10.7 depending on rider and water depth. The hydro gate off for goofy as it only seems to spray you with water but all the way down for regular as it cleans up the wake on that side. I have tried to use higher speed and not fill the belly/bow as some recommend but was not happy with result. Also tried to fill the opposite ballast to only 7/8 as some have recommended and did not seem to make much difference. I just fill it all up and go and The wave we get is as good as I have seen.

I know most people go between 10-11 mph, but I haven't had any luck going much over 8.5 mph tops. The wake just totally flattens out. I wonder if my speedo is off. It's GPS so it should be correct, right? I'm on a river and I usually set it at 7.2 when I'm headed upstream and 9.2 downstream.

Mark, that sounds pretty slow. You should test your speed with another GPS (a phone app would do it). I had GPS based zero off on my 2014 230 and initially it was off by 2-3 mph. The problem was they needed to upgrade the firmware in the engine ECU. I don't know this for certain, but I suspect the issue was because the dealer installed zero off rather than getting it that way from the factory and they were supposed to update the engine ECU when they did the zero-off install. My point though is just to say that even GPS based can be off...mine was. Once they installed the ECU update, it was spot on and I never had an issue with it.
On the main topic, I was in the camp of upgrading rear ballast to the standard 750's. I initially had trouble with bulging dividers but solved it with the reinforcement kit + some extra pins to keep the dividers from moving up. I had that boat for two seasons and didn't have a problem with the bags sliding around and hitting a rear divider. The 750's are 50" long rather than 55" so maybe being slightly shorter (and wider) helps keep it from slipping back, don't know. I know the factory bags at least on the 2014 had clips to hold them in place. Maybe you could glue a bracket onto the custom bags and attach them to the hard tanks like the factory bags were to keep them from moving around.

Thanks for the response Dave. Yeah, it does sound slow, but I'm not so sure it's off. The dealer actually already replaced my ECU a few months ago because of another matter and I didn't notice any difference in speedo readings between the two. Maybe the puck? Checking with a phone app GPS is a good idea. While I'm hijacking, I may as well ask what top speed is everyone getting unladen, with the 1235 prop? My max has been about 42 in non-moving water.
Back to the topic: I too thought about the factory clips or loops when I had the custom ones made. Wakemakers doesn't do them. They recommended talking to a raft making company. I couldn't see how gluing something like that would ever hold long term, so I scrapped the idea.
