I have a question.... My 2014 g23 has a upgraded sound system. I have a custom box with two 12 inch Wetsounds subs, 4 amps, and 2 batteries underneath the port side stereo under the seat across from the driver. It's so much weight my boat actually leans to the left. When I evenly weight my boat with full ballast I notice my wave on the goofy side is better if I have an extra body or two on the starboard side. But sometimes I feel like I need a little more weight over there to get a crisper lip on my wave. If you guys had that where would you add the extra weight to even the boat out a little more? Would the starboard locker be fine or do I need it more up front in the bow? I also run 650s in the rear lockers and a 650 bag on the seat upfront. Just not sure where to make the slight adjustment to counter all that weight from the sound system.

Just to confirm, no ballast in non surf side rear ballast? Could you fill all ballast and just fill an 1100 in surf side rear locker as a close approximation?
You could do it this way. I just do it for ease of switching sides as my 1100's are not plumbed in at the moment. I just fill the bags and use factory ballast to switch sides after. If all your crew surfs the same side then should be good to go with factory full then one 1100 on the surf side.

You have the opposite problem of most G owners haha. Under the drivers seat there is an access that you could probably stuff 100#s. Shouldn't need much more than that as most offset the stock starboard lean with at least 200#s.

Thanks for this info guys. I have really been trying to figure out NCRS vs NSS on my G23. (We are newbies) I think I have been steeping the wave up to much and running too slow. Saturday I will try 5-2 running at 12MPH.

12mph might be abit fast for only stock ballast in that it will flatten your wave out a good amount. For stock ballast try 11.6mph with ncrs 5 and nss 2 and go from there.

I tried more weight in the back this weekend, had both 1100's full, stock full, except for 200lbs out of surf side, and about 400-500lbs in the nose. 11.8-12mph. I gotta say, for our purposes, that wave was too steep even at NCRS and NSS at 0. Boy could you ride a ways back though! Will either add more weight to the nose (which I can since its a 1000lb bag up there) or remove some from the rear. 550 horse engine had absolutely no problem with the weight though.

Good to hear your thoughts! Yea that's even more than I push, try only filling the surf side stock that should mellow it out some. More nose weight may help slightly buts its s big boy wave for sure!
