    2011 210 questions...

Hey all I recently upgraded from a 91 BFN to a 11 SANTE and I'm looking for a little advice.
    1. Can I tow a tube from the tower? Haters save your breath... I literally despise tubes but spending time on the water with my fam is more important . It's a FCT5 and the placard would indicate that tubes are acceptable. Anyone had this setup fail pulling tubes?
    2. Can I cover and tow the boat with the tower down and the racks in the inboard position? I have the stock Nautique cover and am concerned that the racks will wear the cover.
    3. Where is a good source for the bow walk through air dam? Should I just make one? Or use a jump seat? If so where is a good source for a jump seat?
    4. Where is a good source for a port side "E"?
    5. What speeds are others getting with their 210's? I have a 1579 prop and the previous owner reported a top speed of 33 mph. That's a little slow for barefooting. I need a spare prop anyways - should I find a 1939 or would that kill surfing? Is there a better choice?
    Thanks

    1). Yes

2)get some foam( cheap noodles or something to put on edges if you're worried

    3)Nautique parts .com

    4). No help there.

5). You should get 36 ish with the 1579. 33 is a really low estimate. You can probably maybe get 40 at the most with the right prop if you only have the 343. If yo don't plan on Wakeboarding a ton fully loaded you can get away with a more "skier oriented" prop for surfing. However it will not push a fully loaded 210 out of the water with extra ballast in it for Wakeboarding.

Thanks for the responses Swatguy. The pool noodle idea would work however I'm thinking of having some material sewn into the cover. I'll do some prop testing but still interested to know what others have found to work...

I don't think that you can pull the tube from the tower (according to the sticker anyway).we always pull from the ski pylon, especially if you take a sharp turn when going back to get a dropped tuber, then you can get the boards on the rack cuaught up on the rope.

I run between 36-38 mph with 1579. I have two and each run the same depending on weight. Wakeboard lever in the middle.

Not supposed to pull from tower (toob) but we always did because two of our boats didn't have any other tow point. Did it for 6 years and no issue. The only issue you will have is your toober will fly like the wind when hitting a roller
