The most positive thing I've seen on PN in a long while is the recent press release announcing that wakeskater phenomenon Brandon Thomas has been picked up by CC.
I had the pleasure meeting this guy almost exactly a year ago when my family sent me to The Projects wakeboard camp in Orlando, FL for my 40th birthday. BT is a super personable guy and seems to have his head on straight by simultaneously pursuing of a college education and a pro wakeskate career. When I got to hang out and drink a few beers with him the night before he won the first tour stop at OWC last year, he couldn't have been more at ease with himself and generally positive on life. Most other guys in his situation on the eve of riding in a head-to-finals would have been all reclusive and not putting out the welcome wagon with some old guy from Maryland.
BT will represent CC very well, I'm sure. The Projects' is full on Nautique scene and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to getaway to a cool low key riding spot with excellent instructors under the tutelage of Zen Wake Master Pat Panakos.
Go, BT, represent CC in 2006!
