First outing in MN

Not many Nautiques on Lotus, I tried to get a 206 out there, but die hard malibu familys wont see the light. I think they see the light, but wont admit it. I sold a 77 Ski Tique to a guy back in the 90s to a guy on the west shore top of the hill. Lotus is a great place to ski if no wally's out . It sounds like TLE4 has land and final preps are being made. It would be late fall of 07 if your lucky.

We ski quite a bit on Lotus, but mainly early mornings. I hope that TLE4 progresses faster than TLE3, because from what I have heard, it has been a fairly slow process, and it still has a long way to go until it is all complete. The pics from TLE2 look really good, I would love to ski it sometime.

What does TLE# stand for. I've never heard of it before. It sounds like a private set of lakes to me.

PM me when you have time this summer and we can get out. We only have 3 houses on the lake now, so water time is easy to get. I ski every night. TLE4 is dealing with local politics. Every time you need somthing done you have to take the govt out to dinner at a fancy place.

TLE=Trophy lake estates. 1 is in glenwood, 2 is in Pine Island, 3 is 2 lakes in Lindstrom, 4 will be out in carver county.

MNSuperAir, you could check out Lake Elmo, I've heard it's not too bad. Only anoying part is any lake in the city of Lake Elmo is slow no wake until noon. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:
I was out on Sat. at Lake Gervais. (Maplewood) Water temp was about 53 according to PP. :grin:

I will definately PM you sometime, that sounds great. As far as TLE4 goes, it's frustrating dealing with the local politics, and landowners. For some reason, most people out that way do not want a nice gated community to come in and bring with it many $$ in tax revenue, go figure! We are on our 3rd or 4th plot, because of zoning issues. This one should stick, and I think with Joe Mueller's connections with the city of New Germany, it can't hurt.

It sounds like it should be a go. Now if they could fix the traffic jams getting to the airport, I would move back to my home turf. They need to run the light rail from New Germany to the Airport.

Lots of lots FS. But it sounds like you have a little longer ski season, + you get to hit the slopes. That would be a tough call.
