Does anyone have suggestions for a prop change on a Sport 200? I have the excaliber 343 and the factory 381 prop but it feels sluggish out of the hole. When pulling a bigger skier out of the water i can feel the boat struggling and with a boat load of people its hard to plane out. My old SS with the GT-40 never had an issue no matter how much weight you had in it. Im looking for something with a better hole shot but also one that won't change the wake. Any suggestions?

Hi went through a similar exercise with our 2013 Sport 200 (ZR409) back in 2014. Ended up getting a 1579 (has same cup but less pitch) after we damaged the 381 one weekend. Lost a bit of top end speed, but it definitely had more punch out of the hole. I think it is the same prop used on the 210 at the time. cheers GerryLast edited by gpk; 06-07-2016, 02:24 AM.

This was some info that a fellow member (sodbuster88) gave me previously:
"I'm running the 343 with an ACME 1235. My top speed hydra-gate down (slalom) is 39 and 41 in the up (wake) position...with boat running light and no ballast...but seems to make no difference regardless of boat weight. I've posted a couple times to various threads asking what others are using and seem to not get much information on performance. Regarding the 1235, I don't have anything to compare it to, but it's a brute on hole shot. Check the specs to compare here: http://www.acmemarine.com/prop-list_ski-boat.php "
I purchased a 1235 as my spare but I have not taken the time to put it on and try it out unfortunately.'13 200V Sport Nautique

You might want to consider a 1939. I think it might be a be a good prop for your application. It should have more hole shot than your 381 but isn't as "low end" of a prop as a 1235. 1235 is more for a weighted wakeboard/surf application. I had a 1235 on my 216V but had the 1939 as a back up. I bought it because I wanted something not quite as low end as the 1235 but with a good hole shot. Look into it and see if it might fit your application. If so, I happen to have one for sale...
