Anyone had to deal with Nautique Warranty? Water in my oil

After a day of surfing my wife noticed that our 2014 210 SANTE was not holding the speed. I emptied the tanks and hit "Back to Dock". There was a vibration and it acted like it was still in the "surf" mode only going about 10-11 mph with the bow up in the air. I just idled it back to the marina thinking I may have bent the prop. Upon further inspection the prop was just fine. I pulled the dipstick and saw what looked like milk. I then realize that the hull was also full of water. So much so that the bilge didn't keep up. I am waiting to hear back from the dealer what the prognosis is exactly but I'm sure I am going to have to deal with the warranty department. I have owned the boat just 1yr to the date as we bot it new but was 1yr old and yes it was winterized.

Man - that sounds like what's going on with my boat. It is in the shop now. Hoping to hear back today or tomorrow.

dang thats unfortunate. hopefully they change fluids immediately before real water damage sets in.
out of curiosity, how high up was the water? over the transmission/vdrive? did you not notice the bilge running?

The water was right where the motor mounts were on the engine. Didn't notice if the bilge was still pumping as we didn't even notice the water in the hull still till the next day

If the water was that high in the bilge sounds like someone forgot to replace a hose during the de-winterization process or plug. Your boat was sluggish because it had more water weight in the bilge than the ballast probably holds. Not sure how the water could have made it into the engine from the bilge though as it shouldn't have been high enough to make it to the intake. I would have the dealer look in the v-drive/transmission as well. Bet they will have watery mix too. Unfortunately this sounds like it will be an insurance claim more than warranty unless it is found a part was faulty causing the water to enter the bilge. Good luck with it and maybe it will all work out in your favor though.

Who winterized and summerized the boat? If its related to improper procedure and the dealer did it then they should have to eat it or try to get it covered under warranty. If you winterized and summerized it your self then it may be an insurance case. Need to find out the cause as it may not even be related to winterization/summer-izing.
