Gas springs/shocks replacement end caps

I have had the little plastic end caps on my G engine hatch gas spring wear out and cause the gas spring to pop off twice in the last 16 months. I don't think I open and close the hatch more than anyone else would. Marine Max has replaced under warranty but now I have 2 perfectly good springs with worn end caps. I tracked down the company that makes the springs and they told me where to buy just the end caps. They are 87 cents a piece. I believe they fit all the other springs in the boat too (transom cooler, glove box etc). They have a $10 minimum order for credit card payments.

Its still under warranty have the dealer get you a new one.
