Frickin awesome, so on the same page, lmao.

Did someone say surf cove, you have got to be kidding me?? A surf boat is as obnoxious or perhaps worse then a tubing boat and should only be done as far from shore and other boaters as possible. Surfing doesn't require smooth water at all so why even go there??

I think it is funny that people are against tubers. hey you 4-7 year old kids I can't take you tubing becuase you may ruin the lake! But I am going to go surfing for the next hour and half.

I can see where you pick that up but I don't think we're all against toobers. Just would be nice if most of them quit coming to the lake ... Just kidding

On a serious note I really just wished they paid more attention and don't really see why children need glass water to toob. That's what drives me nuts .

These are all great comments. I have nothing against tubers and surfers. We are them too! I can see a boat pulling young children in a tube wanting calmer water. Theyre also not the one churning the waves ... Just pulling the young ones behind the boat.

Its the tubers and surfers turning calm water to an ocean that get to me. Want big waves, go to the big water. Eventually the lake front owners will start petition drives to limit surfing to open water. Same may be said for Dept Public Safety and Park Patrols, because large wakes can be unsafe. How about we all try to be courteous and not create a reason for another rule?

Too many people don't think. Courtesy can't be counted on. Heck any power boat can disrupt someone else' activity. If you're chilling on a float with a cocktail by your dock, a Ski Nautique will rock your world. You just have to take measure of your impact on others. For some reason, pontoons and jetskis seem to be the worst. Most inboard owners on my lake seem to be more aware and courteous; and a whole lot safer.

While not always the case, most inboard boat owners tend to be enthusiasts while many pontoon and jetski owners tend to be casual, part-time boaters and not enthusiasts. Enthusiasts always tend to be more aware and courteous. Heck with the price that we pay for these boats now days you have to have a passion for the sport to justify the expense because for many of us it becomes a lifestyle and not just a holiday weekend/occasional use pass time.

Common sense and courtesy. I agree that whenever someone purchases a boat or jetski they should get a guide giving suggestions on how to have fun and be courteous to others. I think most people just don't realize that their fun may be ruining it for someone else.
I like big waves and loud music, I also enjoy flying around on my jetskis and pulling the occasional tuber but I don't do any of that when or where it's inappropriate.

I often pull doubles with a tube rider (GoPro in hand) and throw in a double up from time to time. Does this seem like it covers all the basis............

While I agree with the original post, it's like trying to get slow drivers to quit driving in the left lane. It's useless. I agree with the post saying, just don't introduce it. My son is 5 and he has been wakeboarding since 3. He has never been on a tube. He asked what one was one day when we saw some kids tubing on the lake. I told him it was for kids that can't wakeboard. Not sure if that's good parenting or not, but I'm sticking to it.

Lets see a first time tuber that gets thrown off or a first time wakeboarder that catches an edge???? My experience has been that most will take the tube ejection vs the concussion......... Each has it place. Ever seen what happens when a bunch of pro wakeboarders get bored and want to tube??? Amazing things!!
