    Factory tour

    Hey all

I have been a member for a few months now. Went to the Vancouver boat show and fell in love with the G21 and G23. Currently we own a 2014 tige R20, just looking at a slightly bigger boat.

We will be down in Orlando in the middle of August for a Snapon tools buying show. So we thought we could take a day on a factory tour. Judging by the website I'm assuming just to send an email off to Nautique. Anything we should pay attention to? Neat things to see?

Also, wizard lake marine they seem to have huge amounts of inventory. How are they to deal with? Warranty stuff? We live on Vancouver island so Kelowna is quite a drive to get work done, so they said they would send someone out if needed. Any experience with them?

    Thanks

I just bought a 230 from their Alberta location in the fall and they were great to deal with. Hands down better than all other dealers I visited. Can't speak on warranty items though as have not had any yet...knock on wood.

For the tour, just make sure that you wear "closed" shoes. I took a tour last spring. Pretty cool stuff, actually. They should contact you back via email and get you set up for an appointment time. I thought it was worth doing if you are in the area. Made me feel even better about my purchase.

I've had dealings with Wizard since 2008 and any issue has being looked after with great results.

I bought my G21 as a private sale but have dealt with wizard lake in Alberta for a couple of smaller things and they've been excellent.

I've only dealt with the Kelowna location. You don't need to worry about Wizard Kelowna as they will live up to their word and obligations. They are very responsive to any concerns or issues that arise.

FYI I believe the Nautique factory shuts down for a week in July/August. Hope it doesn't coincide with your trip.

On the website it says May to July 22 tours aren't available. So I hope that is true
