My boat didn't come with the pro ballast option which i believe adds another 600#. I'm not sure where the weight is added, is it 200 additional to each tank? I've noticed in other threads that most have the pro ballast with additional weight over and above the pro weight. Given that i am starting without the pro tanks what is your recommendation for me to achieve the best wake surf wake? Also, I've never added sacks to my boat before so any insight as to the best way to do so is appreciated. Can i plumb them into the current lines so they fill/empty with the other stock tanks? Will the LINC computer automatically adjust for the added ballast or will i have to guess how full they are? Again any info is appreciated.

Our 2014 210 came with pro ballast and we upgraded to larger bags.
Having said that, there are some things to consider so that you make the right decision for what you are wanting to get out of the boat.
With the pro ballast, 6 adults and 2 small kids, the wave was amazing.
when the wife and I would go out with just the kids and no guests the wave was lacking.
I removed the rear pro ballast sacks and installed 640lbs sacks from wake makers and also added 300 lbs of lead weight.
we now have a great surf wave when it is just our family (100lb wife / and 2 50lb kids in the boat & me surfing).
If you plan to have a lot of people on the boat all of the time you may be able to get away with lead and/or pro ballast sacks.
If you only have a couple people on the boat you will want more.
The down side is that you will loose all of your rear locker storage and may need a prop change.
I still have the (2) pro ballast sacks that I may consider selling if your interested in going that route.
As for plumbing, I would highly suggest going to your dealer and looking at the factory install if they have one in stock.
The pro ballast option is the same for the new 210 and 230 I believe.

Are the pro ballast tanks seperate tanks added to the stock tanks or a complete replacement to the stock tanks? Also does pro ballast add belly weight or just port and starboard? I don't usually have a lot of people on board so I will want more than pro ballast. So what's the best way to achieve this? How big of additional sacks and should I add bow weight too?

I have a 230 but the "pro-ballast" is basically the same. One port bag and one starboard bag, NO additional belly weight. each bag is about 400lbs...but most people will upgrade these to larger bags. However, with larger bags it is likely you will lose room for your storage trays. There are a few threads on this site about upgrading so do some reading and see what you think. Below is a picture of the stock pro ballast bags.

That sac looks tiny in there. I put the standard 750's in ours but have honestly realized ours does not like all that weight. We end up with stock plus surf side 750 full as well as a 370 lb tube sac in the ski locker. I will fill the non-surf side 750 and empty until the wave cleans up but it's usually only about 1/4 full.

Hey Gunter it appears you have your additional sacks plumbed in. Did you do it yourself or did you have it done by the dealer? I have a 14' 210. I am using the Ronix 8.3 system that works great. Just tired of lugging the pump around. Would love to plumb them in to the system.
Frankie again, we have the same boat. I have 2 800lb sacks I fill up for each rear locker and a 400lb bow sack I add. However its usually just my wife and I in the boat so we need the extra weight. We surf at 10.7mph, ramp lever forward and NSS on 3 and it is awesome.

Kelly, these sacs are plumbed in from the factory (proballast option/upgrade) however this can be done fairly easy as a DIY. Call the guys at wakemakers.com and they will hook you up with everything you need.

I ran the pro in 210 for a season and just swapped them out and put the fly high bow 550 in. I had the guys at wakemakers cut me some customs sacks for the rear and was able to 600# each side and still keep my bins up top. I'm run light most of the time so the added weight was needed. Install of the rears is cake, if you want to tie the bow in to the stock belly it's more difficult but not bad.

We have a 2015 210 and I have stock hard tanks and have added the ronix 550's in the rear and 300lb of lead weight. 200lb for regular side and 100lb for goofy. No matter how many people are in the boat it is very tall and tons of push. I did hear the 14's needed some bow weight so I would add 100lbs of lead up front.
