Absolutely loving it. I'd still give the SN200 a slight nod in tracking (marginally!), but there were just too many features that my wife and I couldn't overlook to make the switch to MC.

I am looking at a '14 ML550's for the wife. Good choice? Happy with yours? Also in the running is a '15 ML400, but I am not all that excited about losing the V8 and 100 pounds of torque. Although the 400 has air suspension and the 550 I am looking at does not.

What is the LOA on that whole rig? That's amazing. Two of my favorite hobbies, biking and boating. Ski in the winter.... .

              • I won't be towing far with this, but I might just have to hook it up for a photo this fall when the boat comes out. I only go about a mile, anyway.

1961 Ford F100 4x4, 292 V8, 4 speed manual. Would definitely want Low Range to pull the boat out of a ramp, but it could do it I'm sure.

Thanks! The color is... well... I'm not sure. "Lime Yellow?" The fire dept. that owned it before me had a can of dried out paint on the shelf, but the paint code on it does NOT match the truck's color; it's for a color called "Chartreuse" which was used only on ONE 1977 Corvette, and quite possibly only literally a single example of that car. But it's way more green than this truck. The only reason I know all this is that I'm having the tailgate worked on and I'm having a hard time finding paint. I will have to drive this truck 45 minutes to the nearest auto parts store that can use a special camera to capture the paint color and make some for me.

Long answer, sorry. That's the deal, though. This truck is wonderfully simple... yet most things turn into a research project. Like upgrading brakes.......

Your boat fits in nicely with that jacaranda behind it.
