  • Here's a shot of our 2014 210 and 2016 LR4. The LR4 does a great job towing, even with its 3.0 SC V6, but it drinks a ton of fuel.

Nice truck - and boat - is it just the angle or do you have a very short bed on that truck?

How does that handle? I'm scared to tow with mine, although I have no need to.

Now this, this-is the way a person properly tows a G Boat. (It doesn't have to be a 1 ton, but at least a 3/4 ton). I no longer am in the towing game since I bought a lake house (or will tow so infrequently, that my 3/4 ton was no longer necessary; I went back to a 1/2 ton for parking garages, handling, etc.). Anyway, with a G23 weighing 5900lbs EMPTY... I don't care if your 1/2 ton is rated at 10K lbs. tow rating...with a trailer, gear, and fuel-that G23 "tail" would wag a 1/2 ton "dog" too much for my taste... Put passengers and gear in a 1/2 ton, and you are flirting with the GCVWR, easily... All of this, of course, is IMHO... I like a wide margin for safety and capability...
