The 6 door is owned by a friend of mine that I ride with. He's always wanted to build a 6 door and when one came up for sale 20 miles away he jumped on it. It's a finished truck but he has plans for it. Should look a bit different in the next year or 2 or 3 ha ha. I say that because he is about 4 years deep in a Trans Am build that is patiently waiting to be wired.

Most Ironic thing, is that I get the same fuel mileage towing with the Pete, as I typically did with a pickup (8ish MPG)

Being able to travel more than a couple hundred miles without stopping for fuel one big one. What is the seating capacity of a rig like that and a general cost?

Being as it is a Glider (ordered from factory without engine, transmission, rear axles, gauges, seats, lights, horns, etc.. It basically just came as a bare cab and frame, and then I chose my own driveline/axle/interior components to install in it. It cost a little more to build, even though I did all the work myself. This is also a really heavy duty, and excessive spec, compared to a lot of semi-tractors. We run pretty heavy (112k lbs), and over a lot of mountains...... But, with all that said, I think it totaled out around $182k without paying my own labor to build it. Semi tractors are typically 110-190k, depending on spec.
My truck has a 2 seats and a bed configuration. The bed area can be enclosed with seat belts, so you could probably have 4 in the truck, and be comfortable and legal. You can get trucks with additional seating instead of a bed. There is also options for a bed that converts to 2 bench seats.

You can go 2500 miles but it probably costs a couple hundred to fill it up....

But what would be the difference between that, and having to put $75.00 in a pickup 10 times on the same trip? Still cost the same, but would be a lot more convenient to stop once instead of 10 times.
