Had my 2003 210 for a couple of weeks now and can't get the wake right. Last night I tried 750 in each V-Drive locker(do not have stock ballast) and 540 in the ski locker. The boat doesn't seem to have enough power to even get me up. Took for ever the plain off the first time and when I tried for a second time it just couldn't plain off. I recessed and tried 540 in each v drive locker and 450 in the ski. Still struggled to get off plain. Boat is also bouncing like crazy once it planed off with hardly any waves on the lake. I'll try to add some weight to the bow next. It doesn't seem as if I can't get enough power to pull that much wake which surprises me from what I've read on the 210's. Any other suggestions?

You dont have enough weight up front. Porpoising (bouncing like crazy) is a dead giveaway. Try the 750's in back, 450 in ski locker and 540 full across the bow seats. Use a 60-40 weight ratio back-front as a rule of thumb. Wake will be insane.
Now to the prop. What prop are you running? Stock? If so you need a new prop if you are running that weight. Keep the old for a spare. Acme 1578 is what you want.

First, looked at the engine a little more today and notice that the water filter was clogged pretty bad. Assuming that might have a lot to do with it. Seth, I'm pretty sure that I do have a stock prop do you think the Acme 1578 will make that much of a difference? Have thrown a lot of cash at this already just want to make sure I'm making the best investments

You can't change the reverse. An upgraded prop will make a world of difference. You also don't have enough weight in the front. With the 750s rear and 540 in front you are at a 25/75 ratio (540 front/ 1500 rear). It will porpoise like crazy. My best advice is to put that 540 in the bow and then ride while filling the rear until the wake just barely starts to wash a touch then drain a little until it cleans up. That will be what you need for a single bag up front. Make note of how much is in the rear bags with pics on your phone. Then stop and get on plane several times so you know how it should act with that weight. Then add the other bag to the cabin or walkway, get up to speed, and start filling the rear bags again until it almost whitewashes. Take pics of rear bags for reference again. Then stop and get back on plane several times. You will likely notice this time that it struggles to get out of the hole with the factory prop. I would run the 540 up front and two 750s filled up just enough to keep it from washing. Should be more than ample for you and stay clean for you. Then when you have the extra cash buy the upgraded prop for the ability to add more weight and still get on plane easily.

Yep, definitely need more weight in the bow....in my 06 i had a 1000lb intergrated bow sac in the front storage area to go along with the stock plus wedges in the back. This was good with 8 to 10 people or just a few plus a couple 750s on the floor.
