    480 prop for slalom ski

i have had my 95 sport for a few years now. The previous owner used it primarily for wakeboarding. It had the 480 prop on the boat when i got it. I also have a 422 that came with it. I was the only one in my group that cared to have ballast in the boat. last summer I aggravated a bad lower disc injury by taking a nasty back flop. This summer i hung the wakeboard up and picked up the slalom ski again in hopes to avoid another lower back injury. even with only two people in the boat the slalom wake seems a bit tall. not running any courses by any means. just free skiing. anyway, onto the question. will i see any difference in the actual wake itself by going back to the 422 prop, or am i just as well off leaving the 480 on? I have plenty of top end with the 480. the bottom end hit is great too. but no longer filling ballast i dont feel its needed. also is a little rough at 5-6mph cruising. will the 422 smooth that out?
