Thought I would post this just because I was pretty excited about it. I bought my new to me 2013 G23 last October. Didn't really get to start using it till this season though. After the first couple times out, I was really impressed with the power and response it had with even a lot of extra weight in it. I knew it had the 17" prop on it(ACME 2561) and saw the shaft had been upgraded to the 1.25"....knew those two went hand in hand anyways. But to my absolute surprise, when I was doing my routine maintenance prior to really starting the season on the water, I noticed the 2:1 ratio tag on the tranny....I literally rubbed my eyes and couldn't believe what I was seeing. I have the 450hp PCM along with the 2:1 tranny....It was Jeff McKee's old boat and imagine he had that done by the factory when he owned the boat......still cant believe it!!
What do you think, even though its a 2013, having the 2:1 should increase the value similar to what a 2014 would go for, huh? Only other difference is the Clarion to Polk stereo between the years, right?
