g only needs weight in front, it increases the length of the wave, still retains ridiculous amount of push! makes it not quite as tall, but then you can adjust that with speed...weight in front of 16 an newer g acts as ncrs at 0 in the 15 and older. most fun wave I've ever ridden! may not be as long as fully sacked out 230 with 5000 lbs of ballast and nss but def has more push and steeper!

wayward ,
same with me... I have 800lbs of lead to play with. I tried 400 under the front seats and 200 under passenger seat by sub speaker. My thoughts are it was better with just stock ballast and handled better at slow speeds. I never tried as much weight up front as Garrett described.2016 G23

I have a 2200 lb "belly bag" that I used to fill on the floor of my X-30. It is awesome. Takes up the whole main cabin but is really nice if you are going out with the boys and just wanna get nuts. I will fill it over the next couple weeks and see what I get.

Small (light) group 100% port 90% stbd belly full. NSS 0 NCRS 0-3. 11.2-11.7 mph. Larger (heavier) group, off load transom weight. Port 80% and stbd 70%. I have noticed with more transom weight, it is harder to tune the wave to your liking. The 10% split in the back lockers is to adjust the prop torque and the stbd natural list. FYI.
