Need Pricing Help with 2003 210...

Hey Guys. Been out of the wake game for awhile and I am looking at a 2003 TEAM 210. Boat has almost 600 hours on it, but is in pristine condition. New tires on trailer, new batteries, new bimini, swivel board rack, flight control rack, vinyl and gel in great shape. Hard tanks have also been replaced for bags. Any idea on what would be a fair price on the boat to pay? I want to be fair to the seller and not low ball, but I also want the best deal that I can get. Could some of you give me an idea? I am to the point that I would love to have another Nautique, but if it doesn't work out, then so be it. Thanks in advance.

Just my opinion based on me keeping track of my own 02 SANTE value...
    Great deal for you, $26k
    Good deal, $28k
    High end, $30k

If it is as nice as you make it out, you are probably somewhere between good and high end. What are they asking?

I agree with Azeus... Sounds like if you got that boat for about 27-28 it would be a good deal.... Pristine boats will command a little better price...

            I just paid 26 for a 2003 with 360 hours

though the vinyl had stains inbetween where it meets other vinyl from not wiping and the trailer fenders are all warped and effed up

those prices seem a bit steep for a 13 year old boat... NADA list 20-23k with a tandem axle trailer (didnt add any other options) so 25k doesn't seem unreasonable. pristine condition often seems to be worth more to sellers than buyers, so the seller might be over pricing it.

The only reason I'm following this thread is the swivel board rack. I have an 03' and I would love to have a swivel or swinging board rack. I'm interested in what/how they did a swivel on the FCT2

NADA Is not very accurate for older boats. SANS are one of the most popular wake boats of all time and hold value really well. I watch prices on them and see them listed for low 20's to low 30's. It's peak boat selling season (but not for much longer) and from the description the boat is in great condition. I'd say the 26 to 30k for a boat that sounds like it had no issues and in good condition is right on.

Thanks Nautiquehunter! Glad to be back...kinda haha. Didn't know if you had ever seen my boat on the water down your way?

Well, talked to the guy this weekend and it seems that he isn't as negotiable as I thought. His pricing seems to be right on, although on the higher side, but the boat is in beautiful condition. Honestly, I am to the point where if it works out it does and if it doesn't, I am fine.

I will agree on the misleading figures from NADA. I have used it in the past, but merely as a reference guide. The problem with NADA is that most options aren't figured into the price. Their options are basically boat cover, bimini, ballast, speed control, and tower. It doesn't factor in things like Spinner board racks, Full Throttle Package, $5,000 stereo and tower speakers, underwater lights, jump seat, hydro gate etc...like my 08' Team Edition had. These are factory options, but they don't add to the value for NADA. Unfortunately, too often banks use this NADA as a guide for when buyers are financing through them, often short changing the value of the boat. It takes a person who truly knows what they are looking at to determine a boats true value.

Thanks for all of the responses guys. I will let you know if this goes any further.

Actually, the boat is an 03' that they have installed the newer 04' tower on it. I'm not sure why they changed it, but that is what has been done, if that helps you out any.

wat?? NADA/KBB/Whatever is junk. Look at the market. And in what world does a buyer not value a pristine condition boat over a whooped one. You get what you pay for comes to mind.

Looks like he might be a couple thousand off but keep in mind the overall condition , Upgraded tower and ballast system. You would probably spend that much and more if you bought a lesser boat in poorer condition?
