    210 Height with Tower folded

Does anyone know the height of a 2011 SAN 210 with the tower folded? The boat sits on a Boatmate trailer with 14" rims. Specifically I want to know if it will fit under an 8 foot garage door opening.

    Thanks in advance.

It will be very close. If you are willing to take board racks off that will help even more as well as tower speakers. May be a good reason to throw some Wetsounds on the tower with the quick disconnect. I know on ours, 2013, the board racks and tower speakers are the tallest point.

I have a 2009 SANTE 210 and to get in 8' garage I have to remove Z5 bimini top, remove "pins" that attach the weight assist to tower, remove board racks and take boat off receiver ball and lower jack all the way down and push by hand...and I have under an inch of clearance. My trailer is a VIP w/14" wheels. The tower on my boat is a FCT3 tower, which is part of the problem (it doesn't fold as low as earlier or later towers)...

That sounds like a lot of work to me.

So it sounds like the FCT3 tower is the issue with fitting under the 8 foot door for you. So will my 2011 with its newer version of the FCT (not sure if its a 4 or 5) fold down to a lower height than your boat with the FCT3?

Yes - lots of work...and why I am getting ready to build an oversized detached garage w/12' high door! Almost certainly your newer FCT will fold lower as I understand the breakpoint on mine is the highest - thus the problem...

I think your tower looks better than my tower. I always thought that the newer tower like I have was a step back in design, but I guess there are trade offs.

Just out of curiosity, do you live in a neighborhood with a HOA? I've considered building a boat garage, but it would have to first be approved by my HOA and the design would have to match the house. I haven't taken it that far yet.

My 2011 210 W/Z5 fit in my barn with an 8 ft door. Cleared by a couple inches. Bimini had to be removed. My 2015 210 clears almost the same, about 2-3 inches but now the factory bimini doesn't have to be removed. It's only for off season storage so not a big deal.

Yes - HOA. I just got approval from them (has to match house and a few other rules - not that big of a deal). Permits got redlined - they want to see load calculations for a few things - so getting a civil engineer or architect to work that out so I can resubmit and then begin construction of the monster garage :-)
