wrap or no?

ok im listing my 1992 ski nautique up for sale and i was thinking about wet sanding it over the fall and winter or wrapping it in a cool wrap to help with resale value and speed of sale.

what do y'all think? i has a decent radio, sub, and amp. I installed a monster tower and a 4 tower speakers i have re-dyed the interior already I'm looking for around 10500 for it.
does that seam low? high?

Personally I would prefer it if the boat I was shopping for was not wrapped because I would then feel like I am unable to verify the condition of the hull. Buyers are like sellers they all have different ideas of what adds value to a boat. I don't think wrap would warrant any increase in price but a nice buff and wax of the original gel coat I would consider paying more for. Some people would rather have a wrap with updated graphics over original get coat.... The good thing about leaving it just gel coat is it won't cost you anything that you are then hoping to recover in sale price. The lower you can get your price the faster the boat will sell and if you wrap you'll have to charge that much more for the boat which makes it harder to sell. Buff and wax on the other hand is just costs you some old fashioned elbow grease.

A wrap is not cheap, and you will be money ahead to skip that.

Either sell the boat as-is at a lower price, or take the time (or spend the money) to sand, buff and wax the original gel. You'll get a better price that way.

I personally would never buy a boat with a wrap. You will definitely lose money doing that like Jeff said. A nice clean gel coat is always preferable

So lets see its a 92 does it have wood stringers? That would be the #1 selling point for me. The fact that you put a monster tower and dyed the interior is a big red flag . I wouldn't wast my time even calling but that's just me. When I am looking at a boat I want to see it in its raw form nothing hidden or covered up. The wrap you are thinking about will probably cost you a couple thousand and I doubt it will increase value much if at all.

Shiny gel will always be worth more then a wrap. The price you mentioned is on the high side for a 92' imo.

We just went through looking a ton of boats before buying a 220.You will definitely go backwards on the wrap,i think the whole wrap thing is a thing of the past.

IMO - Towers are a bad idea for Ski Nautiques. Definitely skip the wrap and spruce up the gelcoat. What do you mean that you re-dyed the interior? That sounds a little sketchy.

it was just a little sun bleached. and as far as the tower it had one when i bought it and i replaced it with something i could collapse so i could put it in the garage.

what do y'all think a reasonable asking price would be?

4-8k this time of year, to get more then that it needs to be really clean and have dry stringers.
