    Surf wake on 08 230?

I'm looking to do a boat upgrade for more family room and better surf wake (I'm a big guy at 270 lbs and my current mc x2 just won't give me enough wake.) someone recently recommended a nautique 230, so thought I would check here with the experts on what the factory surf wake is like on the older models like the 08, w/o all the newer surf technologies? I'm on a tight budget so can't afford the newer technology surfboats. Outside of surfing I have two young kids who love to board, and I slalom occasionally when I'm ready to risk injuries! Thx! Stevo

Everything you need is in this thread:
    http://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/fo...30-236-nss-kit

I made a custom NSS kit for these older 230/236
My friend has a G23 and the surf wake is almost identical to my 230.

I would agree with Max.... The 230 makes a great wave.... I am 6.1", and around 250#.... I have one of the kits that Max made too.
