    Weighting a Pro-Air

Well i'm having trouble figuring out how to weight my 99 Pro. That hull design was only around for a few years and there aren't a whole lot out there (it seems) so i haven't gotten a lot of feedback on it. Currently, i've got the stock 400lbs in the back, 600 in the ski locker, and 540 in the bow. the wake it pretty good, but if i put more weight in the back, you think that would help?

you should move more weight to the rear of the boat I would not add anymore, just move around.

Take the 540 out of the bow and put it in the rear locker. I'm assuming that the 600 is in the ski locker in the floor. Direct drive's don't need weight in the bow because the engine is in the middle of the boat.

I put a 500 in the rear locker with the stock 400, a 500 in the ski locker, and a 250 in the bow. Wake is perfect when you're in 20ft or deeper of water.

I would say probably not. A SAN has the engine (600) plus the wedge tanks (600) in the rear stock. Plus the belly (400).

You would have 1000 at rear with the engine being kinda the belly, making it close to the same as a v-drive.

I have been known to run an additional 500 in the rear alone, making it much more than what you would have back there. Also, there are some that are plumbing in extra bags on top of the tanks on the SANs to get even more weight in the back.

I run the stock 400 plus 600 in the rear locker with another 600 in the center ski locker. Sometimes when I want to get real crazy ill run another pair of 350s next to the engine, only ran that a few times but the wake was insane.

The 600lbs in the center ski locker will balance it out.

I'm in the same situation with my 98 Direct Drive Air Nautique. Want some extra weight in there and I'm looking at adding a ski locker and rear sac. Right now I'd just do anything to convert my gravity feed stock tank to a pump system cause I can't stand the gravity feed. Sometimes they fill, sometimes 1 side fills and not the other, etc. Drives me crazy and its not reliable, want more control over that. If anyone has some tips for that itd be appreciated. Anyway good luck to you!
