Location of Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro

In the new 206 i looked at when the new ones were frst being delivered, i noticed that the wakeboard pro was located on the outside, right smack in the middle of the foot well. I am aware also that the foot area on the 206s are relatively small, esp compared to teh other Nautiques. If i just got out of the water, soaking wet, and popped a squat in the drivers seat and relaxed, i could and probably would nock or at least kick that system with my wet feet. this hasn't been a problem for me yet, cuz i haven't tested what i think will happen, but it seems like it would easily.

So i ask do other people have this problem in their boats? Is it not close enough to the driver in other boats? Is it in that spot in other boats? Does anyone else think that putting the system in this spot wasn't a good idea for these reasons...or is it just me? And finally, does anyone know if it can be moved and why it was put there in the frst place? Etc... I'm just curious if this is problem waiting to happen. It looked to me like i could nock it right out of there, and i'm not that tall...

Not quite sure what you mean, but it was a big metal thing with a bunch of wires going in and out of it. It said wakeboard pro on it and it was right smack in the middle usually where teh sub or heater can be placed. They saleman agreed with us so it seems to be that it was the "computer" or the module.

CC has already moved the Wakeboard module under the pod. It is mounted to the deck under the pod because there is no reason to have quick access to it. If you would like to move it on your boat the wiring has not changed and will reach the stbd side of the pod area where it is currently being mounted

The brain probably is mounted to your kick board. The water from your feet should not harm the brain unless you are actually dousing the thing with water. It is very easy to re-locate though. It mounts with two screws and all the cables are (as frost said) long enough for you to move it. Just pull your steering wheel off using the large center nut under the N emblem, unscrew your pod and mount the brain just to the right of the wiring hole, and run your wires up through there. Just remember to counter sink any holes you put into gelcoat to prevent cracking.
