    help with a 1992 nautique

    i am new to the forum and have never owned a nautique but always wanted one.there is a 1992 19'6" for sale locally with 400 hrs.the price is 12995 which i know is high.my questions for those in the know are as follows:is there anything about this year model that i should be aware of?the boat and trailer appear to be in excellent shape,what is a reasonable price?any comments from anyone with this type of nautique would be greatly appreciated.

    Many of the tips that M3Fan suggested in this thread will apply to a '92. This was the last year that Correct Craft used wooden stringers.

    Beyond this list, I would take a close look at the Pro-tec ignition system if the boat is so equipped (most were in '92). If one of the ignition modules fail there are no longer replacement parts available. You may be stuck with replacing the whole system for $400+.

    That being said, my dad had a '92 that served us well for 10 years. Great boat.
