Just sold my 2003 Super Sport 210 and loved it. However wanted something a little newer and could fit all needs. I do Slalom and plan on doing so for a long time. I'm not a tourney skier but do appreciate a good wake. I wakeboard but age is catching up to me and don't need a huge wake to be satisfied. I just got into surfing and do see the whole fam wanting to surf more. I'm really torn on where to go. My top line ins $60K but wouldn't mind keeping it closer to $50K. Could I get good enough surf out of a 200? I really would like surf gates however. Should I stick to 210's? I've test drove a few "budget" boats(NXT and Axis). NXT's ski was good but the rest was so so. Axis had awesome surf and wakeboarding wake but ski sucked. I'm also looking at some used Mastercraft X-15's or X-2's. I'd love a G20 but that just might be out of my price range

Shameless plug here, but you should consider my boat for sale (former Planet Nautique boat, very unique one of a kind). It has Nautique Surf System also. My brother slalom skies behind it (he owns a 200 Sport). I had a 2005 210 previously (similar to your 2003 Super Sport). I'd say the slalom wakes are similar based on what my brother has told me. You will get a MUCH better surf wake out of the 210...it's actually not even close.

We have a '13 200v sport nautique; purchased it new; upgraded from sv211 because of our passion for slalom skiing. We surf and my kids wakeboard; I recently purchased a suckgate (QSWS) and have been very impressed with the surf wake especially when it is just my wife and I in the boat.

Yeah been looking at a lot of VTX would need a 2013+ for Surfgate and that's taking me a little about my price range. Malibu is also making their 21 VLX in a diamond hull this year at a lower price point..

Before the 200v, I had a centurion cyclone which we could not ski behind. Great surf wake but rodeo skiing ensued. We bought a used 200v and have loved it. I bought the mission boat gear delta for surfing and it has totally changed the surf experience. We are completely satisfied.

I removed the hard tanks and plumbed in two 1100 lb sacs. However, 750's would suffice. I still use a 400lb walkthrough bag for wakesurfing. No leaning now with the delta. The wakebaording wake is good. It's better than the cyclone. If you want a boat that does all three, then there will be compromises.
