    Making a Coastal Edition Coastal.

    I picked up a 2011 SAN 210 last month.

Some things make me shake my head at Nautique.

For one the rear locker channel drains right on top the ballast pumps then splashes all over engine bay.

Fix- make larger drain holes with barb fittings under and run drain hose to bottom of boat

Second was the rear ski/hidden pole is a direct line for water to enter hull every time you sack the boat down with weight.

Fix- machine a cap with o-ring. So I fired up my lathe and whipped this out. Click image for larger version

Third thing I addresses this week is seat sliders that are mild steel.....

I ordered SS sliders and removed the old ones.

All hinge gas cylinders are SS but mounts are mild steel?

        I'll be addressing this next.
