Mount mirror on Bimini?

I have the mirror mounted on my G23's driver side window but I can rarely see surfers in the water due to the tower or the rear hatches. I'm curious if anyone has suggestions for placement that works better? I looked up and was thinking about mounting it on my Bimini. I figure I could get a t bracket, an elbow and an end cap and mount it off of the Bimini using this bracket: http://ptmedge.com/rts-100-rod-to-scoop-adapter/

Any other ideas? Is it in fact the PTM mirror that comes with the 2015 G23? Anyone know where to find parts to match our bimini?

I'm not sure the bimini would be the best place to mount the mirror. It isn't as stable as the windshield.

The mirror that comes standard with the G23 is the Roswell mirror. You can find it on this page:

Why can't you see a surfer in your mirror? Will it not angle down enough, or are they outside the viewable area to the side?

have to agree with Jeff , I have no problem seeing wake surfers unless they are are doing deck starts, I can see the surfer but not their feet until they release into the wake... buy the new 2017 i think it has a( back-up) camera that might show it all..

They are normally hidden by the rear lockers. It might be that we prefer to start with a shorter surf rope. Has anyone seen a tower mirror arm that works on the G's? Thanks!

Can you mount a Go-Pro on the swivel mount and send the video to your phone, or possibly connect to the video jacks and send to your Linc screen?

Try rotating the mirror 180 degrees, loosen the back knob and turn/rotate the mirror around, I found that when I did this one way gave me a little more "down" viewing area. Not sure how to explain it but try this and see if it gets you the mirror position you want?

It may help to take a pic and let some others look at the position that you have the mirror placed and that may help with suggestions as well.
