    Scottrob,

How fast were you going? At 28off you should be cleanly in front of the rooster tail where the wake is nearly flat, unless you are skiing slower than 34mph? If you are skiing slower than 34 than you probably should not be skiing at 28off. Also what ski are you riding? I hate my riding my Goode when there are more than 3 people in my boat. The Sixam 1.0 is like riding a Cadillac, plows through rough water like it's not there.

I am skiing at 36 mph. Now my ski - ha, well that is a funny story cause I was using my old HO Extreme 69" from many years ago. I only had my buddy and 5 yr old son in the boat AND the ballasts were completely drained AND valves closed off.

I was close to touching my elbow in the water on cuts - so pretty confident that I was on edge :-)

I guess from all the comments - I should have test skied it first - although there is no arguement that a large portion of my decision was bow seating length and overall storage.

I just cannot believe how much of a bump I still got, which threw me off in my sets to where I spent more time worrying about that bump than making the next buoy.

Scott, I'm sure that I'm over simplifying this, but it could have been just an off day. Try not to let it psyche you out. If lake condition's were ideal, it'll probably work out just fine.

However, I only ski at 15 and 22 off at 34 and 35 mph on an HO Burner 67". What do I know??! Yellow_Flash_Colorz: Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

Not really sure what to say,

Heres our 216, were hardcore slalom and wakeboarders.

Checkout the pics they speak for themselves.

          Rip a little harder

m3the01, I think your 216 has a slightly different hull. If I'm correct, you're has the extended TSC1 hull, and scottrob's has the extended TSC2 hull. I know that would make your wake slightly larger, if anything, but worth mentioning. Ironically, from that sick pic you have of you ripping, your wake looks much flatter than the 216's of today...

If you are skiing the course at 28 off, then most likely you're keeping your ski on edge. Unless of course you are making your edge change behind the boat. I've seen some aggressive skiers do this. If so, wait until you're past the second wake before making your edge change.
