    Sport 200V Wakesurf setup

Curious how others are weighting and what speed setting? Best I have found is with 750 on surf Side in rear locker, 750 on floor (parallel to rear seat) and belly tank full. Speed about 10.1. Throws a great wake with plenty of push.

I strongly recommend getting the mission boat gear delta. We used to run a similar set up with an 1100 in the floor and some bow weight. (Depending on crew size.). Now we run with both lockers similar weighted and a 400 lb walk thru bag. No More listing. Maybe a little less on the non surf side. I have two 1100 in the lockers, but it probably isn't any more than your 750s.

You def need a some sort of wake shaping device if you don't already have one.

I'd appreciate feedback on speed and placement of the mission delta. I've tried using my buddy's on our boat a couple times but I have really struggled to get a clean wake.

We are getting a great wave. I'm running 9.9 on GPS. The 400 walkthru ballast helps make the wave longer. The stbd wave is cleaner than the port wave. We just put the delta as far back as possible directly below the rub rail. Fill up both lockers as much as possible. The belly is full as well. You need some nose weight. .

On my buddies 200v, he has a Mission Delta and we fill up all the ballast plus half of the two bags in the locker. With the Delta facing forward but as far back as you can and the front cup down 2 inch from the rub rail we were getting a nice long clean wake. Could not believe how well the delta works! Oh and we were at 10.6 but he does have a tall prop on his boat.

Hi, I thought I would jump in and let you know that I just traded in my 2014 Sport 200 for the GS 20. For reference I'm a light skier (145 lbs) that grew up on big wake skiing and only do recreation skiing (32 at 15 off is it for me). I skied/surfed behind the GS20 before making my decision. The big difference for me was they removed the rooster tail that you had to ski through at my speed/line length. I found the wake to be similar size, but without the rooster it was much nicer to ski through. In terms of the surfing, on the sport 200 we added 400 lbs to both back compartments and added the Ronix Wedge. We would then fill all the stock ballast, but only the 400 pounder on the surf side. At 10.6 to 10.8 MPH it made a tremendous wake that even our biggest friends could surf. It was a clean wake, but perhaps a little steep. I highly recommend this configuration for anyone that wants their 200 to become a good (great?) surfing boat. I don't think the GS20 wake was as big as this configuration of the 200, but it was clean and long. Unfortunately, we should have had someone large with us to really test the surfing - as my wife and I can surf behind anything. We made the jump because the hull improvements, built in NSS, interior improvements, huge stock ballast (hopefully we won't need to add more bags to this one) and I felt the skiing (for me) was an improvement. Finally, sorry, I'm a smuck and didn't take any video or pictures!

Anybody else have some feed back on setting up the Sport 200 for surfing? Just playing around with the setting on our boat. Just bought it last fall.

All ballasts full. Nauticurl shaper. And 400 fat sac on surf side doesn’t a decent wake for me at approx 9.7-9.9 mph depending on fuel and passengers. Could it be bigger with more weight? Yes but this is a good configuration for me as my main sport is slalom and 36mph so skis take up room where extra sacs could go.

I had a homemade suck gate on mine. It produced a very nice wave just like that, or even better with a 400# bag on the surf side. Loved that boat and wave!
