They work just like the Mastercraft OEM ones that they've had for at least a decade. They work great. Nautique is REALLY lacking in the board rack department. I wonder why they don't offer something like this from the factory.19 SANTE 210

This is exactly why boats are $150K now. Since boats aren't mass produced little things like this cost a ton of money. A bunch of my friends have MC's with the clamping racks and I do like them better but I'm willing to pull a bungee cord to save $5 for each time I do it. haha.

I have been loving these racks on our Malibu this summer and now that we have an aftermarket option a lot of boat owners are pretty excited for the upgrade over bungees.
The price is a barrier for some. They are a bargain compared to purchasing them as a factory option on a new boat. Like any high end accessory you only have to make the purchase once. These racks are very high quality and should last the life of the boat.

I am on the edge about purchasing these as this has been a gripe of mine before I bought a G23 since I wanted clamping racks. The inability to get these almost p=pushed me to buy a Mastercraft.
I think if you plan to keep the boat for many years then it can be justified. I don't like the price but there is finally an option. If you do sell the boat I bet you could install the factory racks and sell the clamping racks for $3K so the net is like $1k.2015 G23 550

NautiqueJeff have you tried these on your boat yet? I'm wondering if the boards would potentially hit one of the tower speakers when folded in. We have the four factory 8.8" JL tower speaker option. FYI for anyone considering these, our Nautique dealer is able to sell them for $2992 per set.

Wow, that's a huge discount!
I can fold them in with two boards on them, but the top board's boot will hit the speakers. My board uses System boots, so when they are not on the board, the rack can fold all the way in with two boards. I have the same speakers as you.I own and operate Silver Cove Marine, which is an inboard boat restoration, service, and sales facility located in Mooresville, North Carolina.
