Just curious how much weight additional you guys are adding to surf with. For me, I am plenty happy with my stock wave.

Do you add extra ballast to surf your G23?

This weekend surfing 2850lbs OEM + ~400lbs lead and extra batteries, + ~1000lbs in the surfside trunk. 2800rpms, 11.7mph amazing wave.
Tall, I think if you experienced the Buxton Marine Colston plumbed setup... And how flawless it works with 1100s in the trunks... You'd want to run extra weight.2019 G23 450

I have a 2016 G25, and the stock ballast is fine, but it is so much more fun with 750s in the rear lockers. I run it at 11.7 to 12 completely full. I also bought my boat, and had the extra sacs installed at Buxton. Top notch!
nyryan, where did you put the 400lbs of lead?

I only run 200 lbs of lead under seat by sub speaker. We usually only have 2-3 passengers, but this weekend had 8 passengers evenly spread threw out the boat. Wave was noticeably bigger and longer.2016 G23

Usually there are only two to three of us on the boat though. My wife rides stock ballast. She's about 120 lbs, but I really like the added sacs. I'm 6'3" and about 185.

Colston is one of the techs at Buxton, he is awesome.
Y valves after the port/starboard OEM pumps to 1100s. Fills and drains independently after or before the OEM bags. Fill from the bottoms, overflows tap into existing bilge thru hulls. No holes to drill.
works flawlessly nearly 600hrs on 2 Gs. Fill OEM ballast enroute to your spot. Flip valves start riding and the wave continues to grow.
only thing better would be True OEM integration of 1100s from the Linc, on their own pumps.

Some days I think that my NCRS doesn't even do anything. And my NSS adjustments on the fly hardly make a difference. I have to play with it a bit more. I can see hardly any change in it when I adjust those things. My 12 year old desperately needs a wave with less power, and I finally resorted to just going without ballast for her. I am also considering going back to some list.
I once added an 1100 to the floor of the boat and the wave became ginormous. It was a busy day on the small lake I live near and rides of any length of time required us to turn around into our own wave. Pretty much nobody could continue to surf when we crossed our own rollers. Just cruising down the lake lengthwise was fraught with multiple jetskis, tubers, and other obstacles that made us stick to the side where shorter runs were all that was possible. Having said that the wave become so big, I was a bit disappointed that it did not lengthen the wave, even going 12 MPH. I am actually looking to tinker the wave to make it a little less steep, as I am trying to land a 360 and that vertical wall of water is sort of harder on that.
