How to make 2017 G23 goofy surf wave the best?

I'm currently playing with 2 bags in front lockers and 2-4 passengers in the back of boat. Wave is awesome for regular stance but goofy wave is no bueno.

Thats strange - the goofy wake, starboard, should be better by default.. for Surfing. Just start standard ballast (all tanks 100%, NSS at 2) and slightly listet. With two bags in the front i think you lose some push?

Yep, probably too much weight in the front. My goofy wave is better than the regular wave with just stock ballast.

Agreed with above! My Goofy (starboard) side is def better than Regular (port) side with stock settings. I use 100% ballast all around. I do bump the speed up to about 11.4-11.8mph. NCRS 5 NSS 0. We love the wave at that setting! I've had many first time surfers throw the rope on that setting!! It may also depend on what style board you're using too. Skim or Surf style. I have found that those settings are a little steep for skim style (at least for me). But for the G23, you shouldn't need any extra weight up front unless you're using skim style and just want to lengthen out the wave a bit.
