    End of the line?

Today was suppose to be the first day of the season.

We were on our way over to the lake to put it in for the year.

Anyways, we were towing along, and we get to some tight corners, there is an RV pulling a trailer. Hmm.. That trailer is kind of veering into our lane. The trailer misses the Denali but takes out the boat. You see the motorhomes hitch assembly was inpropperly welded, as a matter of fact. the whole thing came off the frame, causing their trailer to run free.

It ripped the tower in half and destroyed the trailer. Also ripped a huge hole in the deck and a couple holes in the hull. I'm not sure how much it takes total an 11 month old SAN, but it was pretty messed up.

It's just kinda funny because .01 of a second sooner and chances are it would have killed us, and .25 seconds later and it would have missed the boat entirely. Luckily there was no one behind us and no one was injured.

I took pictures, but the files somehow got corrupted, but that's ok. I think the sight of them would make me sick all the same.

Hopefully the insurance company doesn't try to play around with us. **** what a way to start off the season.
    How about \"Chales\"?

    RIP Nikolai (\'05 SANTE) 5/23/05 - 4/30/06

Wow, I'm so sorry! I can't imagine that feeling in your stomache when you heard and felt all of that going on.

Good luck with the insurance companies. If the other insurance company doesn't wanna pay up, threaten to sue their client. That should make them more cooperative.

                      Hey Dragon

Truly sorry to hear about your boat. If I lived nearby, I would honestly offer my 210 for use when I wasn't using it, but it's a bit hard when I live over here in Australia.

In the long run, dare I say it, your boat is a material thing, as you said, having a family/friend hurt would have been way worse. Just try to think of how exciting it will be on the day you pick up the new boat. Big Kid in a candy store !!

                      Take care.....

Richard, glad everybody is alright. But sorry for your boat. It was one of the most nicest ones I ever seen (I still use your picture as my desktop).
As DaltonHouse says, you can always use ours. But it's easy to say for me as I live in Europe.

Hope you will be back on the water soon!
