2002 Ski Nautique Gauges...can these be original?

The owner of this 02 thinks these are original gauges. Can they be? I'm concerned that hours aren't accurate because gauges replaced. I thought all 02 had Teleflex digital. See attached. Thanks.

Yes, I believe that the Signature Edition (SE) had analog gauges. Does the boat have an ignition key instead of a key pad to start the boat?

No this is a limited. Keyless ignition.

As a comparison, What are the hours on perfect pass SG showing and when was it installed??
Also believe all 02' had the teleflex gauges originally, my call is those are not original

All 2002 had a keypad and Teleflex gauges, in the SN there was no "Editions", super air was the only model offering that and only as a "Team" edition.

Those are SE gauges, but not from '02. I had those in my '06 SE.

Guest I disagree on all 02s had Teleflex gauges.

I have an 02 Ski Nautique SE Edition. Mine is the base model with analog gauges and a actual key. I don't have a super close up of the gauges but mine are very close to the ones the OP posted except mine say Faria on the RPM gauge instead of having the Nautique logo.

FWIW I bought my boat used so its possible that the owner lied and said they were switched out but I believe they are original.

Keith, great info, don't believe everything your read on the internet is the lesson learned, lol.
Per the 02' brochure they list Teleflex Gauges and Keypad as standard equipment and I do not see a mention of a signature edition?? That is not saying it was not available as clearly based on your boat it was.

Regarding the OP boat, not a keyed ignition so likely had teleflex, but who knows?? Hours on PP could help determine an average if you can nail down exactly how long it's been installed although even that is only a guess. Contacting CC with the VIN may produce a build sheet which would only tell you if the gauges are original or not.

That pic of Keith's dash is different....as that is a 2000/2001 steering wheel. The 2002's had gone to the newer wheel....also, the dash just doesn't match the other 2002 pics I've seen online...which all happened to have the digital gauges. I believe it's probably a 2002 due to that little Ski logo on the right...it just doesn't look like all the other 2002 dashes.

I feel confident that both me and the OP have the same dash compared to the later 196 that have the 5" gauged that are straight across where mine are more in an arc. 02 was a weird year with lots of random differences depending upon when it was built.
