    2006 196 with 760 hours for $17K???

    And that's what they're listing at. Should I be very leery of this? Limited, hydrogate, bimini, PP SG, decent trailer.

    Really depends on where they are at and the condition of the boat. Up north it could be just someone who wants a quick sale before winter hits.

      If its clean with low hours it's a needle in a haystack or BS, if it's used hard or has high hours the ask is where it should be.

        I'm assuming you're referring to the boat in Katy, TX? I wouldn't be leery, as 196's just aren't that popular down there, being wakeboard country. I bought my '06 from Buxton in TX last year, and didn't pay that much more, and my boat only had 100 or so fewer hours. I felt like I stole the boat from them, but they said flat out that ski boats are a hard sell down there.
