I was close to pulling the trigger on the GS, but the cockpit was just too small. I ended up wth a '14 210, so if the 22 comes out in a year or two I can pick one up new without taking too big of a hit.
I hope Nautique doesn't keep me waiting too long!

Amazing. I knew that a G21 existed but somehow I missed the fact that they built this too. Absolutely incredible how much depth they have to the G series boats already. Just as a platform it is impressive as heck that they've been able to do so much with this thing already.

I finally got to do a walk through on the GS at a boat show this weekend - for it's size it truly is an amazing boat. They have thought of everything, the storage, while not what you'd find in a G21 or 23 is abundant considering the size of the hull. From a drivers standpoint they thought of about everything from the seat design to the helm. And if you're familiar with the BMW iDrive control for the screen, that's exactly what controls the screen in the new G's. My only complaint is the crappy, seadek type of material they cover part of the dash with - while it may keep things from sliding around, it will also collect dirt and dust like a magnet - I know it's a minor complaint, but I'm pretty anal about the cleanliness of my boat. (as my wife reads this over my shoulder her only comment was that she wishes that I was as anal about the cleanliness of the kitchen).
After I ski behind one, I'll know if they have finally made the boat for me and then it will be decision time.

Where do you live in Georgia and where did you get to see a GS? I'm very interested in this boat but haven't had the opportunity to see one in person.2007 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV, 1995 Cobalt 200

I'm northwest of Atlanta. Believe it or not, it was in Spain where I finally got to see the GS. (I travel for a living, so it's not like I went there to see it - but there was a boat show while I was there and I went to the show specifically to see the GS, met the European rep, Will, and saw a lot of American made boats, no pontoon or bass boats though)

This is the dash covering that I wonder about. How hard will it be to keep clean? I may be over thinking it, but then again the sano pads that were original on my current boat were the worst things to cover a platform with that I can think of, I may still have a Nautique "N" branded on my knee from kneeling on it on a hot summer day.

I get what you are saying about keeping that clean. I'm OCD about a clean boat and vehicle for that matter. That surface can't just be wiped off because of the grooves.2007 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV, 1995 Cobalt 200

Not much bigger, but enough of a difference to notice for sure. The 210 was definitely on the small side for what's i wanted, but the 230 seemed way too big.
im sure my dealer was bummed I didn't order the new GS, but I just couldn't deal with something smaller than the 210. If they come out with a bigger version, I'm sure my phone will be ringing!
