So we are placing our boat order in a week. Still trying to get colors and design picked. I love the black and grey boats as well as the white red and black hull. The boat will be trailered, fresh water only and I will be wiping it down after each outing so any marks that show would be wiped off (regarding the dark boat). So, in reality, how much harder will a darker boat be to maintain and keep clean and for temps in the texas summer, will the tan interior be much hotter than a white interior. The front and back of both will be metallic flake so I am hoping that hides any smudges etc until they can be wiped down. Opinions are welcomed. Pros/Cons please.

Wow you and I are at the same place, we will be ordering ours soon and we are hopefully headed to the factory the second week of Nov. I have been on the design site for couple hours and have about 8 designs, my wife likes the red metal flake very similar to your red, black and gray above, I have this with 3 different interiors, and the same as yours with 3 veneration of interiors. This is really tough, I have been on boattrader.com and look at to many images on the web to see what it looks like as a real boat.
We've sold our 2015 Malibu 22 VLX and it was black, white, and red metal flake. lots of details to review, and we will sit down and do final colors and design once we return from factory.

My doppelgänger! Same situation. Sold our 23LSV and switched to Nautique after riding on a friends boat last year. Was so impressed with performance, customer service and quality of the build we decided to sell and get a 17 G23. Considered a G25 but in the end the 23 was and is the right size. We will make a trip to Orlando once the boat is starting the build to see it as well. Looking forward to this but never thought picking colors would be such a headache. If was up to my wife we would have a purple and pink boat. :-)

OK, I'm going to be the dissenting vote on the black/grey. Not because it isn't cool looking, but because it's going to be HOT! I cannot stress this enough. One of my buddies had a 2001 SAN in black and that boat was pretty miserable in July/August. I was shocked at how much hotter it was.

Thank you all for the input. Our Malibu was black and hot but not that much hotter than a light grey, blue or even red boat. Having said that, yes, there were times that it got toasty and laying out for my wife or friends would be too much. We ended up deciding on this color and design package. Still get the grey, black and white with more white instead of black keeping it cooler. We also loved the tan/brown color in the boat but decided on doing the seadek in the brown galaxy design to keep some of the color we loved. Overall very excited about it. I work for an airline so traveling out to Orlando is a non issue for me and I am hoping I can get a tour and see our boat being made.
