Finally time to order. Need advice and opinions on color and design.

Looks great! We just ordered a new 230 and are looking forward to going down to Orlando for a plant tour and to see our boat on the floor, as well!

It is going to be a great looking boat.

The bottom is the place where you may get some scratches from your trailer bunks, regardless of how close you watch the wear on the carpet. I would not get black there just because you will have skid marks pretty soon. And of course, if you beach it, the signs will be obvious. I have had black and white before and black will show every little swirl even where sand was on your wipedown rags. It begins to bug a guy after a while. The swirls can be removed with a little elbow grease, but I would rather work on something else.

I was expecting Texas Longhorn orange! So disappointed...

Thanks for the advice on the darker hull. I could not do the UT Orange thing. Too many people in Austin paint everything Burnt Orange to the point that it just annoys me now. I went to school there, was involved with athletics there in the mid 90's and am still involved with the community a lot. My wife is an Aggie and as much as I try to sneak some orange in around the house it gets flooded with that **** crimson red. I may stick a UT horns on there somewhere when its all said and done.

How do you find out when your boat is being built so that you can time your factory tour? In regards to colors we ordered the black hull and lower portion of the upper deck, but put mettalic red on the sides and back, with a white platform. Our 2014 sport 200 had black platform and black side/back, but the water spots drove us nuts. We couldn't get the waterspots off the black platform.

Go to this link and on the bottom is a phone number. I called and Larry called me back and left a message that it would be no problem to do the tour and see my actual boat being built. I just needed to provide him with the order number from the dealer which I will have when I get back home later this week.

Well, as luck would have it we found out boat. We went in to finalize options and place the order and two new boats came in. One was a G23 very much like what I wanted to build but missing the design package and with a while hull. Great looking boat but still not quite what we had in mind. The other, a Metallic Reef Blue forward and back with Grey stripe, design package and fully loaded was also available. We fell in love with it immediately. I am normally not a huge blue fan but the metallic Reef Blue was so **** impressive and great looking. I drive a 2017 F350 Dually in metallic white and they compliment each other perfectly...and the wife is happy with everything which is what really matters :-) So, we pick her up in about a week when I get back in town from work. Here are a few photos of the boat. The trailer its on is not the final trailer but their transport trailer. We have a black with grey seadek boatmate trailer coming with it that has the transom steps and 3 footed ladder with Nautique logos on it. I cant tell everyone how excited we are to join the Nautique family. We had an malibu before and were blown away by the G23 and G25 when we test drove them. This will be a boat we can spend some great family time on and enjoy the lakes in Central Texas on for a long time. Thank you again to everyone for the advice.
