Head on down to Austin. Lake Austin and Travis are empty for the most part. We LOVE Lake Austin when its quiet. Silky smooth water in the morning and great scenery! Best time of year for us is Sep and Oct. Where are you guys at up north?

90 degrees Sunday; I'm headed to Worth...wish I had time to make it to PK but I have to dig fishing line out of my raw water pump....&*^%* fishermen on boat dock.
