    Howdy from Texas (2016 230)

I just wanted to take moment to introduce myself. After owning several boats (Mastercraft, Supra, MB, Ski-Pro) through all of the years we finally are in a Nautique. This decision came down to the fact that we decided that we were not only buying a boat based off of quality and performance, but also the dealership. Dockside Marine here in Houston has by far the best customer service before, during, and after the sale. We look forward to working with them on what will be the first of many Nautiques in our future.

Here are a few pictures of the boat (2016 SAN 230), my wife (Briana), our son with his moms sunglasses on (Taven), and myself (Billy).

Those of you here on the forum that are local, I look forward to meeting you in person, and all others I look forward to expanding our network of great friends/contacts in the boating world!

Thank you guys for the warm welcomes! I was starting to wonder if I was posting to the correct Nautique forum! Haha

I guess everyone was also on the lake this weekend and thus the delay!

Sometimes we learn the hard way, but like they say, what you learn no one can ever take away from you!

If anyone is in the Southeast Region here in Texas and you haven't worked with Dockside before, just send me a PM and I'll get you introduced. Great folks to work with.

                    Thank you sir!

Eh this was nothing! I'm in sales and I'm not around my computer a lot, so I've become a pro at using the iPhone like an office computer.

Thank you sir, we live on Lake Conroe.

However, we pull the boat out and travel a lot. The lakes we hit up the most are Travis and Canyon, as you can guess we love the clear water. We also ride everywhere else at least once a year....Lake Houston, Trinity River, Lewisville, Grapevine, LBJ, PK, Austin, Whitney, Choke Canyon.

Pretty much any lake there is something going on at we might be there! The 2015 we just traded in almost had 300 hours on it. This boat we haven't had for a week yet and I'm already taking it in for the 20 hour service! Haha

We have custom 850 pound rear sacs ordered, however they aren't in yet.

That set up is an 1100 Ronix on the floor, 150 pounds of lead on both sides right in front of the rear lockers, full pro factory ballast, 11 Mph, and lever all the way forward.

I'm finding out fast that this boat loves weight in the rear. I don't think a front sac is going to be necessary.

I also find with the 1235 and all of that weight, with 343, you do not need a different prop. Plenty of power on tap and no problem planning out. This is all at Sea Level, keep that in mind.
