Just because CC thinks that its optional doesnt mean that the consumer does. I almost bought an 03' 206. It was around $42K, guess what no stereo! The dealer offered to throw one in if I made the purchase....
I know you mean option, but the kind of money that these boats cost, a basic marine stereo shouldn't be an option IMHO.
Also note, I said its a requirement, not an option...just like AC on a new car in the south.2005 Ski Nautique 206 SE, Acme 422, PP SG 8.0, ND Tower

NCH2oSki, come on dude, give it up. CC decides what is standard and what is an option. All consumers are different, that has nothing to do with what OPTIONS the boat came from the factory with. **** near all new boat owners are going to expect a stereo, doesn't mean you get to decide what to call options and what not. Dealers put whatever they want on the boat to suit the region they are selling in, there is a difference between factory installed and dealer installed. This isn't even arguable, the CC brochure is the truth.
Also note, you said 'nope' to my response for a stereo OPTION. You also said it's a requirement. I'll bet you I can find a new car in the south w/o air conditioning too. If you still need to think a stereo isn't an option, that's ok with me, whatever helps you sleep at night buddy.

I'm truely surprised to find out how many of you chose PP when you can outfit yourself with a lot of gear for the money. Unless I am a tournament skier/boarder I would rather spend the money on gear or performance boat upgrades before PP.
