i actually prefer to drive the boat. i have two buddys w/pp and when i drive i turn it off. but i do see the advantage if a rookie is driving. and if you have a $60,000 boat whats another 1k?

Perfect Pass is great for rookie drivers. Only takes a minute or two to teach someone new how to drive. Also takes a lot of the stress out of it. Nothing is worse than taking a hard cut into the wake and having the boat slow way down.

Since not having PP on our old boat is not a problem for slalom skiers, i would rather spend the money on some gear upgrades. However, for wakeboarding and hydrofoiling, i think it comes in very handy...Even if i had it on a boat and i was pulling a slalomer, i probably wouldn't use it...
