My new boat...2002 Ski Nautique Excalibur 330

OK. I'm getting over the trauma and can start talking about my new boat. First off, I had an 02 with GT40. I planned to sell it and get an 09. Well I sold it and then the 09 went away and I had some unforeseen financial things come up. Found this 02 in Florida (I'm in Chicago). He represented it as perfect...far from it...but after the long drive he kind of had me over a barrel and I wasn't going to drive back without a boat. He never told me no back seat, gelcoat is pretty badly oxidized, fuel gauge doesn't work, and various other odds and ends. It appears he grenaded the impellor. Seems he didn't use it much nor maintain it much. On drive back at 1:30 am the trailer tire blew out in Alabama. I had to leave boat on side of highway. Luckily Walmart opened at 8:00 am Sunday morning and had the tires.

Cool thing is it has most updated Stargazer with ZBox and pucks mounted cleanly under dash. Drives, handles and skis beautifully. I'm going to be posting a lot in the maintenance section as I get to know this new beast.

I put it in storage without taking any. Looks nice in pics but close up it's oxidized. It's red, gray, white combo. It'll be nice after I put some muscle to it. I luckily found a seat from N3. First time I called there they said no. Called back and Mark found one for me. He's a great guy.
