Garage question....and a shout out

So I just got my G23 back from the dealer and I have to say that they did an amazing job. I had a bunch of cosmetic stuff going on from the factory and not only did Nautique cover everything without question, my dealer (Silver Spray Sports in Fenton, MI) did a super job. Jeff and Patty really do treat their customers like family and their communication throughout the process was stellar.

I have a couple issues I need help with

1)I had to let some air out of the tires to get the tower elbows past the garage door. It worked but I was wondering about any other options? Someone mentioned taking a set of tires off to compress the spring on one axle? Anyone done this? Will it give me the much needed 3-4 inches? Someone else mentioned filling the ballast in the boat but I don't really have a good way to let out the ballast once in the garage. It would definitely flood it. I can let the air out again but wondering if there were any other tricks out there.

2)I can't get my tower up in the garage. My cover is an under tower cover. I have it kind of flopped over the boat right now to keep dirt and dust out but I want a tight seal as my garage gets mice occasionally in the winter. Should I ask to trade it for an over tower cover? Does this even exist? Any other suggestions.

ask the dealer for the white shipping cover that came on the boat when i left the factory. it was wrapped with tower down. works perfect.

^^^definitely don't fill the ballast tanks. That's a terrible idea

Most torsion axles can be lowered. And some leafsprings as well. I am not sure you can get 3-4 inches out of them, but 1-2 is pretty commonly done.

Old Jeep had some ideas to lower the trailer leaf springs. I think I am going to either roll her out on some steel rims with padding on the concrete or raise the door. Haven't decided yet. The steel rims idea was the only one that the trailer guy wasn't appalled by...LOL

doc. I have a ramlin trailer that fits in 8 foot door with 2016 g23. It clears 95.5 inch opening by 1/4 inch. I have torsion axles not leafs. My trailer bunks sit on the frame the entire length of the trailer and have 14" rims with D rated tires.
Also the white shipping cover has vents built into it near the windshield.

white, I inquired about the Ram Lin trailer and they basically told me that they are not making these anymore or they didn't want to. It is the low pro trailer and the word I got was the clearances are very tight. Wish I had one right about now though.

Can you install lower profile tires to drop things down a bit? I'd be reluctant to leave tires flat with weight on them.
You might be able to buy different (smaller diameter wheels and tires), if you are just using the garage for winter storage.

I'm looking at just some 15 inch steel rims. Put some padding down, roll in, leave for winter and roll out. Boom

Just thought of one thing. What about ventilation?

They should be ventilated just like the standard cover.
The cover is made by Transhield. If your dealer doesnt have one, you can get them directly from Transhield much cheaper than from Nautique.

I also I tried to think up all kind of ways to get my boat to fit in my garage. I have a 7 ft door and my boat is a 220. Me and a buddy removed the tower. Took about 2 hours. My garage is heated so getting it in for winter was a must. I bought a portable garage from lowes for spring and summer.

Maybe put some padding on this type of dolly, take trailer wheels off and place axle drums on them?...

Would have to figure out how to lock the dolly wheels from rotating though so the trailer could back in and pull out of the garage straight.
