Have you inquired whether your existing lift can be modified to carry more weight? With some mfr's it is simply the cable or winch that differ between the various capacity lifts.
Hydraulic will typically go up/dn much quicker and quieter then the wheeled lifts, on the down side, if you have a motor or power issue there is no manual option. If you go with a wheeled lift and will be adding a motor, stick with a friction style so you can still wheel manually when desired.
IMO the best bang for the buck in boat lifts is Shorestation brand followed by Floe.
